Safety: Staying Home Leaving Violence
Staying Home Leaving Violence is a service that can assist women and children, who have experienced domestic violence to remain safely in their homes without the violent person.
A support worker from Staying Home Leaving Violence can:
Talk with a woman and help her decide whether she and her children want to stay in the family home.
Work with a woman to develop a safety plan.
Provide women with information about Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders and give them support at Court.
Help women feel safer at home by providing security upgrades where necessary. This may include a personal alarm or providing new locks.
